W200 bed repair
« on: June 2, 2020, 02:27:50 pm »
Hello All,
I have a question regarding the bed on my 76 W200. I am getting ready to pull it off so I can clean up the frame, and paint it. While doing that though - the bed needs some TLC. Its intact for the most part, but has some bed support cross members that are pretty worn out. As im sure alot of you are aware, it can be an absolute bear finding parts for this thing. So I'm wondering if any of you have found a good source to get parts like bed floor cross members?

Thanks for the time.

And you can always make your own or hire someone to do so.

Awesome - thank you for that link! Yeah I thought about making my own as well. But if I can find the parts, then I can focus on fabricating the repairs to the bed floor.
