My 1973 W100 Dodge Power will jerk and jump the tires when backing up on an incline.  The truck has a NP435 and a NP205.  It was in two wheel high.  It is a bit scary putting it in the garage.
Any ideas?

I had this problem when I had weak shocks. Back would bounce too much.

Thanks for the reply, but my shocks are new.

Check transmission (T-case) bushings. that's another possibility if they're worn out. It'll allow movement of the drive train. Worn rear springs will do similar, allowing wheel hop from a moving pinion angle ("axle wrap").
