Now that the truck is running great, it's time for some pics
Truck has done 3500 miles allready, just down the West coast and into Arizona now. More pics on the way, but I have to get them from my camera and make them smaller, so bit of a hassle...
It keeps getting smoother, I can hardly hear or feel the engine when idling now. And I think it can do 350 miles on a tank.
Sorry for not posting more... but I've been doing a LOT of driving to catch my flight home from NY City... getting the truck fixed for 2,5 weeks wasn't good for my schedule But i'm almost in New Jersey now
The good thing is, after fixing the fuel problem, literally NOTHING went wrong or bad... in over 7000 miles. Pretty amazing! I did refill the rear diff because of a leaky pinion seal, which I knew about when I bought it. It proved to be a great buy afterall Oh and I rotated the tires, but that's just maintenance.
I'll post more pictures later, probably form back home.. because now it's a very sad moment: I have to sell the Ramcharger. I'd love to keep it, but it's just way too expensive to run back home. I have some interest around here on Craigslist, so selling it should be no problem. BUT, obviously I'd prefer selling it to someone on RCC. So if anyone has an interest in the Ramcharger, please let me know asap. It's an LE150, 360 V8 4WD. Power windows, locks, cruisecontrol.
The trip was AMAZING! And the Ramcharger was the best vehicle I could have chosen, apart from mileage
Can I ask you guys to send this CL link to anyone who may be interested? If you're not interested in buying it, then just look at it to see how great my RC is )
Hey saw your journey in the Ramcharger from your old post. Man, I was just graduating from University at the time. Since then I started working on my 90 Ramcharger 2wd 318. Bro I feel for you and all the crazy stuff that happened to yours xD bro you were positive the whole time! hows the truck !? did you ever get it running properly??

That Ramcharger changed my life! It kept me busy with its mysterious problems long enough to be in San Fransisco just in time to meet a girl from Berlin, who joined me in the Ramcharger along highway 1 to LA. I sold the RC in New Jersey before returning home, I met up with her in Berlin two weeks after and we've been living together in Amsterdam since then. All thanks to the mighty Ramcharger, that never missed a beat after I met my woman
I sold it to a(nother) wonderful woman in New Jersey, who fell in love with it the moment she saw it. As far as I know, it's still running faithfully there. I hope to one day be able to buy it back and ship it over to Europe. It may cause some public disturbance here, though

Awesome pictures! Great story! I just finished reading every post. Thanks for sharing, I've been talking about doing this for years, I'm not getting any younger. 🤔
Thanks Blauram for the amazing shirt that arrived in Amsterdam yesterday! Brings me back to the great times I had in my Ramcharger. I'll wear it proudly!
It's three years ago, but THANKS to all of you for helping me get my Ramcharger going. That trip is with me every day.
