just picked up this sweet 4-door RC ( ;) ) - 2016 Hemi Durango Citadel with the 5.7 Hemi/8-speed, AWD, and the 'anodized' trim pkg (not chrome), plus a whole bunch of other pkg's - the perfect blend of a minivan, Subaru, and Challenger - holds 6, goes like hell, in any weather, with Harry Potter rollin' on the DVD screens in back {cool}

well darnit, we love our Durango...but we've come to discover we would really prefer something bigger, so we're likely looking at a Suburban. The truck is beautiful and perfect and needs nothing and goes like hell and drives like it's connected to your brain...which is why we got it in the first place...but we just need more cargo room in back with the 3rd row up, so it's available for $28,500. This was a $66,000 vehicle new 5 yrs ago - it has nearly every option, including the 'Anodized Platinum' package, which means brushed aluminum instead of chrome, including the wheels, mirrors, grille, and all trim - it is very purty.

The color combo and chassis combo are very rare, and it looks and drives like it, and it's priced very well considering the options.

The build sheet lists all the specifics, and here are the highlights: 5.7l Hemi V8, 8-speed auto, AWD with low range, "Octane" Red Pearl with Frost Beige interior, Heated everything including steering wheel, DVD with twin screens, 2nd row captains chairs, 3rd row seating, selectable technology assist, towing group...and a lot lot more.

Please PM me or e-mail falcon426@hotmail.com if you'd be interested.

Thanks,
- Sam

You can take the idea for your next build, but you cannot get the name.

nooo - we'll just get a Suburban, prolly a 2012-2015 model - it'll be plenty big for us...

I thought that at one time also. 3 of us and 3 dogs demanded more.

Sorry to hear about THE SECOND DURANGO!  ;D
I can hear it now... I wish I never sold it...  ;)
That is a nice Durango your letting go of.

Do you know how many guys I've run into lately that are true "dyed in the wool" Shivvet guys... that are now driving around in their brand new Ram trucks? They swore by their Shivet trucks... now they swear at them.
At least your looking at used ones... because it looks like the new ones are pieces of heeps.

The older ones are not much better, if at all.

Sorry to hear of the loss of the mopar.....

But on the Suburban side of things a buddy of mine has a 2009 I think and has nearly 300k on it.  He is a big guy with a big family and swears by it.  His wife is the main driver of it. He just bought a 2020 Ram 3500 HO Dually Diesel in September though after trading in his ford F350.  That ford f350 SW didn't last long for him.  He hit the auto tailgate drop function like 3 times on the key fob while it was in his pocket. He put some major holes in the aluminum tailgate from his trailer each time he did it.  Drove him nuts.

I usually tell my wife if we don't have room for the stuff in our Journey (let alone the Durango) we are taking too much stuff.

yah so go git yer spouses and have them have a look here at her next car 'cause here it is! ;D  Seriously tho - this thing is gorgeous, and it moves like a Hemi-powered machine should, gets very good mileage when cruising, and looks GOOD while doing it {cool}

Well, first of all, I guess I'm late to the party. I didn't know you bought the Durango. So, as I'm reading on, I was about to say Congrats on the purchase only to see that it's already for sale now.
I suppose I should log on to the site more often. Looks really nice though.

It certain would be nice...

...well cool we may be keeping it after all - we may have found a convenient way to get a kid into the third row and still get back there. I'll delete this post once we've got it sorted out and tested...

Oh man.
I was looking forward to another forum on when you realized you made a mistake after getting the GMer. And then getting another Durango again. ;D

Well, there is a solution as was suggested... build you own. ;D
Of course, by the time it's completed, your kids will want their own cars.

naww - no desire at all to build a custom Dodge "Suburban"...like at all...  -  I pondered the idea...but that's as far as I got ;)

far as I know it's a nice trim package, inside and out.  It doesn't include the V8 option - there are v6 Citadels too.

It's the Thurston Howell lll model. ;D
The uppity version! More glitz!
I have the "Blacktop" version. All the chrome is blacked out.
first read this as all the CRIME is blacked out. shows my biases :)
