They don't make the clips.  Already been down that road.  The Dodge OEM clips work the best and I have already ordered them.

Jeffery45 -- I was actually surprised they found the two nests in the hood.  There was no evidence anywhere of them getting in the vehicle.  They have been officially evicted.  I am pleased with the progress so far, just wish it didn't take as long as it has.

    Items fixed:
    - Replaced all but 5 of the aftermarket trim clips.  The body shop said I was 5 short on the clips.  I find that hard to believe, but I am going to order them to get rid of the aftermarket clips.  They just were not good quality.
    - Wet sanded and buffed the driver's side between the door and rear curved glass.  They missed a spot the last time they had it in.  It looks better now.
    - New Westin step pad for the step bar on the passenger side has been installed.
    - Replacement washer nozzles have been installed too (Finally!!)... I don't feel so bad about the body shop owner having to drive 1 1/2 hours each way to get them.  They lost them after all.

    New Item to Fix:
    - Part of the plastic turn signal level broke off.  It must have been cracked before.  I am going to have to find a replacement one now.  I'm not looking forward to installing it.

Some additional pics from this past season.

I also purchased a set of blue original mats.  They are the 2wd version though.  There is a difference in the passenger mat between the 4wd and 2wd set.  I am working on getting a 4wd version instead but I am pretty happy with the 2wd set so far.  The picture of the mats I posted are not the set I have, but are identical in shape.  I'm looking for a 4wd version to take pictures of.  I'll take pics of mine when the weather warms up.

What are those step bars? And do they bolt to the frame?

They are WESTIN bars and yes, they do bolt directly to the frame.  They are very strong and do not come near the rocker panels.  The plastic step pads are still available.  I replaced the passenger side pad as it was starting to tear off.  They came with the RC when I bought it from the family of the original owner.  These were dealer addons when purchased new.

Latest score... NOS grill surround.  The grill was in a small restoration shop that was focused mainly on GM/Chevy vehicles.  They had this sitting on a shelf.

I also ran across a couple in Florida that had been restoring Ramchargers and were retiring their business.  They had a lot of good parts, many NOS.  They had more 1991-1993 stuff, but they did have these center caps.  I bought 4 of them including the only two they had with removable centers for the 4wd hubs.

So now I have 3 NOS sets of center caps and 2 used sets of center caps.  I will be selling the used ones soon to recover costs of the NOS ones.

    Pretty nice scores...

I also picked up this set of blue floor mats at the end of February.  These are a bit nicer than the set I found last year.  I just wish they were the 4WD mats.  I am still looking for a nice blue 4WD passenger mat.

I hate to tell you, but you got the wrong grille surround.  That is the early '80s version and will not work with the '88 grille and headlamp bezels.

The surrounds, headlight bezels, and inserts changed in 1986, not 1985.  This is the correct surround for 1986-1990.  I verified it also with the original headlight bezels from my 1988 RC.

The 1981-1985 grill surround has a squared off corner on the bottom inside corner for the headlight bezels.  If you look closely at the one I bought (pic in earlier post) it is not the squared off version like this one, but instead has the angle that aligns with the original headlight bezels for 1988.

I don't recall mine having the vertical bar between the headlamp bezels and the grille. I know the grill and bezels overlap there, unlike the older style.

The recessed portion of the surround, which is the part of the surround that the insert and bezels mount to, doesn't have the black paint.  I think the owner removed it.  That's what makes it a little deceptive looking.  I've verified it is the right surround though for my 1988 AW100 RC.  I'm very familiar with the differences in the surrounds between the 1981-1985 vs. 1986-1990 models.  I do appreciate the input.  I do not pretend to think I know everything there is to know.  Just the opposite.  There is a lot more I'd like to learn about these trucks.
