1974 trailduster
« on: February 13, 2020, 02:30:02 pm »
I wasnít looking for another project, but when something like this falls in your lap you have to jump on it. Over the summer I took my 81 trailduster to a car show and a friend on mine told me he know where there was a trailduster sitting. I told him to send me the address and Iíd go check it out. I was busy with work and did t find time to go take a look. A few weeks ago I was in the area and decided to stop and have a look. I couldnít believe my eyes! A 74 postless trailduster with a factory 440! With 48000 miles. the owner that purchased in 1975 with about 5000 miles on it. I just picked it up today and itís going to my parents garage to get it running and moving. Then Iíll take it home and continue working on it. It hasnít ran in about 8 years. Keep your eyes open boys and girls! They are still out there. This truck was hiding under my nose 10 miles away from my house!

I put the holes around the bottom of the housing to deter the evil smog guys from seeing the mod way back in the beginning of time.   ;D

Awesome find! My first 4X4 32 years ago was a 74 Trailduster. Frameless is the only way to go IMHO. Nice rig!
