Schedule of events for Ram Jam

RAM JAM 2012 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The following schedule is going to stay pretty loose. Friday will not have much of a schedule as that will be when most people are showing up. There will be a sign in table most likely located in the RV parking area. T-shirts will be distributed there also.

Saturday, 10:00;  this will be a general met and greet and to line out the day. Most likely it will be held at the primitive campground area. Look for the mass of dodges. This will be the time to set up different trail rides if necessary. Not everyone will have a level 3 and up rig so we can break up if needed and tackle trails within the capability of the driver and the rig.

Saturday, 1:00: meet back at the primitive area for lunch. The primitive area is not a locked in site for this so wherever popular vote takes us is where it will be.

Saturday, 6:00:  gather at the primitive area for the events. This should give us about 2-1/2 hours of daylight to hold the competition events. Egg race, blind man race, tug-o-war (2 classes), obstacle course. I do not know where the obstacle course run will be yet. It will be doable by almost any rig that shows up. Award plaques will be given to the winners of the events and what door prizes are available will be distributed. Award plaque to the “longest drive to get to the event “will be given at this time also. Popular vote will determine who gets the hard luck award and the “yall watch this” award.

Sunday: this day is pretty much wide open as some people will have to pack up early to get home.

Please remember you all are representatives of ramcharger central during this event. If anyone starts to get out of line, or endangers anyone, you will get reeled in. Let’s keep this the family event it should be.

You might want to adjust your time schedule. From 10 to 1 is not alot of trail time there. Also what have you planned from 1 to 6? Just eating and a nap? Just asking. Personally I'd like to ride some earlier in the day before it heats up. And again in the evening. Also I plan to ride on Friday as well.

I have reserved the cabin, not sure what is around it but it could be a meeting place.  I thought I saw pics of a covered area next to it.

The schedule is real loose and easily adjusted. Weather shows to be in the 90's all weekend so morning and early evening wheeling would be more comfortable. Time for the events will depend on how many people sign up. The karoke machine would be a good thing unless someone has a handheld bullhorn they can bring. I will have a generator at the promitive site so power would not be a problem.

Skip should be bringing some but a backup would not hurt.
