    well right now we're just mainly looking at the location, which is looking overwhelmingly like Moab, in the Fall.  The specific dates are still a bit in flux.  We were looking at several major factors (other events already planned in Moab, school starting, weather, and traffic on the trails) just to name a few.  We always want as much of the 'family' to be able to come and enjoy these events, so we try to get dates that work for the kids...but it's tough to do.
    The feedback I'm getting is looking now like the very best dates for this event will be early Sept, maybe 8-12 Sept 2014.  This is the week after Labor Day, which means most of the big events in Moab have subsided.  The weather is great that time of year.  Some schools have not started yet, some have.  There's no way to make everything work for everybody, so I'm looking at the best possible dates to accomodate as many people and schedules as I can.

    Right now, the crystal ball is telling me that the next RamJam will be in Moab, and it'll be from 8-12 Sept, 2014.  So far that's the best time frame.  When we make the location official here in the next few days, we'll make the specific dates official as well.   :) {cool}

    Town will still be busy as it is in the peak of the fall tourist season but the only organized thing I know that week is the Moab Music Festival. During the week is better for trails too as the weekends will all be hectic.
    The weather should be great, could be a little warm, could be a little cool. Could be perfect! :)
    I bet we can still swing a bonfire Friday night. ;)
