Hidden Falls - Late Arrivals
« on: May 26, 2012, 02:37:49 pm »
Hey guys, Jeff here from Hidden Falls.  I just realized some of you will be traveling some good distances to get here and some of you have expressed concern about being able to get here by our 9pm closing time on Friday.  Brett one of our park rangers will be staying at the park and can accept late arrivials up until around 11pm that night.

If you think you will be arriving later than 9-m on Friday please call Brett to gain gate access and make arrangements to get you checked in.  Park Ranger # 830-798-9434.

Thanks,

Thanks for the help.  We will try to not be too much trouble.  However, most of us do drive Dodges.... ;D

Thanks Jeff. Beats having to camp out on the access road ;D. Fo r you latr arrivals, one of the members has rented an RV that I assume will be in first campground as you come in the final gate by the restrooms. He/she/they have graciously allowed this to be the main contact point or  Ramcharger Central. ;D Look for the flashing yellow or white light. I will be around rounding up wayward, late night arrivals. Look for my orange and white W200 with a white camper shell. My cell is, 512-497-8312 and I will have tho good old CB fired up in channel 19.

    Hey Jeff,

Is there a good place to grab some breakfast in town you'd recommend if we get there a little early?

I rented the cabin which I assume is somewhere near the trail entrance.  I won't be getting in until late, probably around 10pm.  If I can get out of work early I can try to be there before 9.

I will be driving a lifted white dually Cummins on 37s, towing a red XJ on 35s.  No bobbed Deuce this year :)

Bluebonnet Cafe, legendary!!!! On the right side as you come into town over the bridge.

There is a new place call sportsmans cafe.  It's east of the park on 1431 about 7 miles.  Town is 7 miles the other direction from the park on 1431 and Bluebonnet cafe is great
