Hughes Torque Converter
Model: 15L TOW Lockup / balanced for a 360
-1800 RPM STALL
-Increase low end power without losing top end performance
-Good up to 500ft/lbs of torque

Fits: 727 / 518 / 46RH /46RE /47RH/ 47RE

Bought it a year ago and just realized it doesn't fit. My transmission is a non-lockup and this converter is for a Lockup version. Cant return it now, so selling it cheap. Paid almost $500- (Currently on Jegs for $492.99 +tax and shipping), will sell for $350OBO. it's red, Having problems posting pics, message me if you need to see some.

    Hughes is easy to work with.
    Give them a call. They might be able to use your converter and "convert" it for less cost than for your loss.

    Thanks for the tip, wish I would have known that before I bought and installed another converter. Live and learn. So this one is still up for grabs if anyone is interested...

    if you contact Hughes and tell them you simply ordered the wrong unit, and if the one you have is literally still brand new in the box/never bolted to anything, Hughes may very well accept a return for the correct one.  They did exactly the same thing for me for similar reasons and my situation was even longer than a year - I'd ordered mine through Summit and Summit said "if Hughes is cool with it then we are" - or something like that.  No sweat - just be honest and never hurts to ask, but call Hughes first because they're the one that has to do the real work.

    Can't say enough great things about both Summit and Hughes' customer service {cool}
