Wheels for my 84 Ramcharger, currently stock - will this work?
« on: September 14, 2020, 05:36:32 pm »
Hi guys,

Looking to switch out my stock wheels for 33s. Setup I'm looking at is:
SPECIFICATIONS
Pro Comp Steel Wheels | Part Number: PCW51-5185
Wheel Width:10 Inches
Style:Rock Crawler Series 51
Finish:Black
Construction:Steel
Wheel Diameter:15 Inches
Offset:-44
Backspacing:3.75
Fitment:Universal Fit
Brand:Pro Comp Steel Wheels
Bolt Pattern:5 on 5.5
Series:51 Series District
Series - Finish:51 Series - Gloss black

Then Grabber atx's: 33x12.5x15.

Would this work with that offset? I'd like the outside of the wheels to be flush with the body.

Will also be putting a 4inch lift in.

Thanks!

Second this, they will probably stick out even with the offset.  Since you are doing a lift they will clear the body and should clear the frame.  The offset is what you have to watch with that much meat on the tires.  If you have too much and keep the wheel too tucked in it will catch everything attached to the frame and possibly the inner fenders front and rear.  Innner fenders, suspension, steering components. etc. will be an issue in the front because of the turning.

Rear should work, just have to check clearance to the wheel tubs (back inner fenders). Measure several times before your purchase.  I know they will clear with a standard offset and your lift put in place.  But tires will stick out some.

Thanks, what would be a better offset on that size to not cause issues?
