Shed antlers
« on: April 21, 2016, 03:34:20 pm »
I picked up a few sheds today. I'll try to post pics but it may not work. I spotted them from my train and stopped to get them. One was off an 8 the other was off a 12

    That's just a few I've found this year. It takes too long to upload from photobucket. I've found about 10-15 sheds and about 15 skulls with horns from dead ones. Mostly hit on the highway but blue tongue got a few of em. I found 13 dead deer on one hill that died from blue tongue. 7 bucks and 6 does. I'll post more pics when I can.

    How in the world do you just stop a train when you spot an antler? I'm picturing a train coming to a stop, then backing up the two miles it took to stop.  {noclue} Thats a good set of eyes you have there to be able to spot an antler from a moving train. I could have used you on some convoys in Iraq.   {cruise}

    I'm kinda a big deal.  One I spotted as I was coming to a stop. The other I spotted a few days back and just made a quick stop yesterday to pick it up. I've found tons of sheds from the train. I just remember where I spot them and pick them up the next time through.
