This is the 40th annual SEMA Show 2006. They have as of this posting over 2,000 vendors that are going to be there, over a million square feet of show room (not counting the out side area's) (or 14 plus miles of walking along the vendors hallways) with a 150,000 attendee registerred so far.  So if you can attend go to this outstanding show you will not regret going!! Plan on staying the whole 4 days, you will need that much time to see it all and that is moving through it fast.  If you do allot of talking you will not see it all. The dates are Oct.31 thru Nov. 3, 2006 In Las Vegas, Nevada!! puttputt56!!

This is an update on the SEMA Show eNews Letter!! Go to listserv@sema.org and check on eNews Vol 9, #37 for the latest news letter. There are quite allot of topics in this news letter that I think some of you might be interested in. One that you might be able to go and have your car, truck or SUV on display for (LTAA) Light Truck Accessory Alliance they are doing a fund raiser at the Show so here might be a way that you can go and see the SEMA Show and participate too. Enjoy reading the articles and enjoy !!! puttputt56!! :D :) ;)

This is another update News Letter From SEMA, Vol. 9, #42
ALERT!!!! Californian's. Check the news letter out, they are trying to change the SMOG program again!!  Inspections every year, NO EXEMPT Vehicles and now want to start checking motorcycles now plus installing monitoring stations every where!!  This is only in a proposal but they are trying hard to push this through!!  We have time to fight this so start writing and get those letters out opposing this change. puttputt56!!

Received SEMA News Letter update this morning. This one has some sneak previews of some of the vehicles that will be at the show. Plus for those that can't go you can watch a live take by going to www.CarCrazyCentral.com and click on SEMA Insider to watch on Oct 31 thru Nov.3.  Also go to listserv@sema.org to review the news letter. The show is just a few days away, I can't wait!! puttputt56!!

We just got back late last night from the 2006 SEMA Show and as always it was fantastic and bigger than last year!!  We had a great time and we took over 300 pictures.  Which we will post (link) hopefully by the end of this week end!! Joey my son (Budget Buster II) got to stand by almost all the girls at the show, which I had to take the pictures and he got to be with the girls; we will have those posted on the boobies site. Lucky him!  ;) ;)!! This place is large and it requires allot of walking. Then carrying all the give away goodies and lecture it is work especially for me.  But I enjoyed it allot!! We went to both the New Product Awards breakfast and the NHRA Breakfast (John Force and his family were the guest party).  I haven't laughed so hard in quite along time as I did at that breakfast.  It was well forth the going!! There were allot more Mopar vehicles at this years show than the past four years I have attended. Jeep had the most vehicles this year. It was the year for Jeep. It seemed that most (allot) of the vendors used Jeeps, FJs etc for their equipment add ons to be displayed, plus Toyota was the main sponsor for the show again and even did the live broadcast for the show through CarCrazy!! We even attended the AAPEX EXPO Show on Thursday. All in all it was great as I expected and I will attend it again next year. Mopar will be bring in Diesels cars in the near future. They wouldn't give me a date but would only say that they will be bring in the European Diesels to the USA soon!! We saw some very interesting new things, like rims with no spokes. They are using a strong Plexiglas material. Which it looks like the center hub of the rim is floating in the middle. Warn has a new wench/air compressor combo unit out now. Which also won first place in the New Product line. I could go on for hours but don't have the time. So will close for now and as I think of more things to write I will add to this post!! puttputt56!!! :) :) :) ;)

As promised the SEMA Show eNews letter Vol. 9, #44 with the pictures of all the vehicles at the show, with a interview video of Rhino CEO at the show that will show how many people were there. You can see how hard it is to take pictures of the vehicles with this many people around each booth! We did it though (360 plus pictures) and they will be posted also soon! My son (BudgetBusterII) has already posted a few on the boobies site as teasers!! So go to link http://www.sema.org/main/semaorghome.aspx?id=56299 or listserv@sema.org and enjoy the pictures!! puttputt56!! ;)
