Nonsense... when getting  familiar with a pistol, it all comes down to range time...period

Being how much cheaper a 9mm is compared to a 40 Cal, u can become a crack shot for half the price...

No one is taking an upper chest or head shot and continue to b harmful...

Case and point...
A well placed 9mm round is all u need to defend against humans...

Their is no need to over compensate with a 40 Cal...

While I am a very good pistol shot my wife is just average. That's why I wanted the .40 over the 9mm. The .40 will stop someone faster and easier than the 9 unless you happen to hit the heart/lungs or a big bone. I am confident I can do that with a 9mm but not so confident my wife can in a high stress situation.

As far as the cost of ammo goes, I am not concerned with that. I will pay the higher cost for .40. I just picked some up yesterday. An almost full box of 165 gr Federal Hydra-shocks, a half box of Black Hills 185 gr HP and a half box of Winchester 165 gr FMJ, all for $25.
