Browning A500
« on: October 8, 2013, 08:36:20 am »
Anybody here have one?  If so, what are you're opinions of it?  Seems the reviews I see online are either love it or hate it.
I know someone with one for sale and I'm trying to find out if it's the G or R model (gas or recoil action).
Either way, seems the asking price for a 'pristine' one might be a little high ($500).
Just wondering if it's worth pursuing and making an offer or not.

the recoil operated models will kick a lot harder than the gas models.it will be hard to find a browning in exc. condition for much under that price.if i remember correctly, the 500's were the lower priced ''working man's''model and were lower priced than the top of the line one's.they were ,if i remember right, they were gas auto's.
    resistance is futile

Here in CA, $500 is a good price for just about any gun.

That's no lie. Buddy of mine gets the deals he does just because he's a sheriff deputy. And even then.....
