Next year my daughter will be in high school, and is anticipating joining the trap club. I am looking for advice on shotgun selection. I have never shot trap, and would like advice on gun selection. Good and bad of over/under, and of semi auto? Brands to stay away from?
Go talk to the coach of the team. He should be able to gehelp with fitting and may be able to get a deal on a shotgun thru programs (school, NRA, gunclub, etc) If they acan't help, at least they should be able to direct you locally.

Not much of a shotgun fan myself but, I have a old Winchester 120 ranger(early version of the 1200 from what I understand) that with the bird barrel and a modified choke if you can't hit a clay with it it's you.
