My 1975 Oldsmobile Regency 98
« on: June 8, 2020, 04:39:12 pm »
Well I figured I'd throw a couple pics and a bit of background up about my other car, that when I'm not driving the truck. Pr my Volkswagen (for commuting purposes), I try to spend a lot of time in.

Picked it up at the beginning of the year out in Iowa.hopped in and drove 350 miles back home without a hiccup. It's a paperwork verified 15k mile car and it shows. No rust, and everything works!

I frequently take it on long (300+ mile) drives and its a lot of fun.

Pics!

Absolutely.  There's something to be said about a big block!

This one isn't the most powerful, but plenty torquey and will still scoot just fine into triple digit speeds. About 12 MPG too!

Although I prefer it with the cruise set at 75, and the AC blasting lol.

Those big block barges were made to cruise the adolescent interstates at 75 mph in comfort while burning 30 cent gas. Of course by '75 cheap gas & high speeds were gone, which favored the putzy imports that killed the US automaker.
