I pulled the carb off and rebuilt it today. Didn't get to try to start it though.
Need a new battery, and make sure the carb is actually getting fuel, and some new tires, and I've got a hydraulic ram on the right arm that is leaking, but I'm getting there. My truck doesn't need any work right now, so this is the project of the moment.
No luck finding a "pre-made" gasket, so it looks like it's gasket making time. I'll probably just grab some gasket material at the parts store, and make my own. Rebuilding this thing is like rebuilding a old Dodge truck, it's going to take some ingenuity, but it will be worth it in the end.
Right you are sir. Got some Fel Pro gasket material and got the carb put back on, but haven't got to fire it up yet. Been picking up some extra hours at work. May be moving it under my carport soon anyway, so hopefully pretty soon.
