    What is the purpose of flipping the u bolts? And do you have any pics of before and after?
    I create feelings in others that they themselves don't understand.

    Flipping the "U" bolts gives you a little more ground clearance & less hanging down to get cough on rocks & things. This pic should give you a idea.

    Can you measure your D80 tube diameters where the "U" bolts go? Also what size are the "U" bolts? How wide are your springs?

    They are 66.50 for the Pair. One of the reasons for the cost is they are a full 3/8" thick witch makes it a little harder to cut out & bend.
    Thanks, Jim

    So, do these plates work with a Dana 80? I might be interested in this as I will be swapping a 1997 Dana 80 into a 1992 chassis.  :)

    I'm in the process of making some D80 plates & I'll post them up when done. The D80 tubes are bigger than the D70 tubes so a bigger plate is needed.

    I know there is a difference on the outers of the "full" dana 80 (drw) and the "semi"70/80 hybrid, with the srw using different outer hardware, but do they both use the same tubes?

    This is some of the info I have so far;
    The '01.5 Dodge 2500 SRW Dana 80 I picked up has 4" tubes.
    I would say measure your tube diameter before ordering to see if they fit. These plates are also for the first gens & ramchargers also. I think the 1994 & latter have a wider spring.

    I'm trying to get some info for U bolts crafted to fit Jungles plates. Does anyone know the diameter of the predrilled holes in the plates? Also would it be too forward to ask for Dana 70 and 60 axle diameters? I'm getting antsy right now because I've been away from home for a week straight and I can't get any info from my truck.

    The D60 & D70 plates are drilled for 5/8" "U" bolts.

    Hey Jim,

    I was just curious where the shock mounts to with this set up? Do you weld a bolt to the axle?
    Maybe I missed this but I can't seem to find the answer.

    Was this ever explained? I bought these flip plates a while back but still need to figure out the shock mounts. Any ideas?
