Caribbean Cranberry Sauce
« on: November 29, 2013, 11:55:56 pm »
1 bag cranberries
1 large apple, peeled and diced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup cran-apple juice
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup Spiced Rum (ohhhh yeahhhh  8) )

Mix everything in sauce pan, and boil for 15 minutes.  Add in water to continue boiling as necessary without it getting too sticky.

Once the cranberries are soft, mash everything into jelly.

Eat on cheese or crackers...or both...or neither...eat it on a spoon...on your fingers...whatever just make a lot 'cause it's smokin' yummo  ;)

I'm gonna try it with oranges instead of apples and see if that's more awesomer, and it might just be so if anyone does it before me let me know  :)
