Bogus Quaker Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe
« on: December 10, 2011, 10:58:52 am »
Soooo, it's time to make my annual batch of oatmeal raisin cookies for Christmas and I crack open a brand new fresh tub of Quaker oatmeal to get started.  I take a quick gander at the "vanishing" recipe under the lid and, lo and behold, what do I find?  Here some frickin' richardhead food science Einstein decided to tamper with the original recipe and vanished both a portion of the butter and the brown sugar.  Idiots!!!   ::)

Sorry, that ain't happening.  Not in my house.   {no}

The real recipe can be found right here...

Ooooo, nice boots!!!   8)

Anyway, if you want to make them even better, double the raisins and add a cup of chopped pecans or hickory nuts as well...   ;D
