Pic folders
« on: November 8, 2013, 08:37:36 am »
Why is it that when I go to do a attachment of a pic (like on here) only some of the pic folders come up when I hit the browse button but I can hit the start icon, select "pictures" and all of them come up?

It is probably due to the images file extension.  When you use the Windows explorer to open your pictures folder it automatically shows All file extensions in the folder whereas when you browse to it say from here, the browser may only be set to .jpeg, .gif and the images in your folder may also have .jpg, .png, .bmp etc.

Well that's what throws me. If I hit "browse" the folders I've recently downloaded from my phone show but some of the others don't that I have named. And pretty much everything in the named folders was taken with my phone. I don't know man, I got nothin'.

What's strange is if I browse, get into my pics library, hit the "arrange by" icon and switch from "folder" to date, day, month then all the pics come up. (just more of a pain to remember what is where) Didn't have this problem til little while back. Been trying to figure it out but obviously I can't. Dang 'puters anyways.  ;D

I think you select images file extension for few folders not all. You need to open windows explorer and open you folder to select in one particular extension. After that all files and pics open in same format i hope you understand and try to do this.
