Vibration i think coming from transfer case mounts
« on: October 2, 2010, 11:18:23 AM »
The problem is parts places listings contradict applications of the different thicknesses for top and bottom.  My truck has a thin one on the bottom that looks pretty worn out but that doesnt make sense to have the thin one on the bottom.  I checked three different repair manuals and cant find which is right.

help please

How much difference have you found?  I wouldn't think a small difference would matter much.

Pollybushings last set you will ever need, and the larger one goes on the bottom.

The thick one goes on the bottom but i switched mine to lower the t case a little to lessen the rear driveshaft angle a bit and noticed no difference
