Well when you turn that steering wheel all the way to one side or the other, its bypassing fluid in that hydraulic piston that we call your power steering, so it could be a weak pump, or a loose belt like listed above cause it sounds like its not getting enough fluid down there......

It means the belt is slipping. Turning the wheels against the stops like that won't turn make the turns any shorter, it will just wear out parts faster.

When you turn the wheel, there is more force put ont he pump/belt, so it's often the belt.  Check fluid level too.

The belt noise would happen from a higher rpm and the belt beginning to slip.

The screeching noise does come from the PS pump from low fluid. When I did mine I changed the PS pump and the steering gear. But the noise is from the pump

A screeching noise can also come from tires rubbing the fenders.

If it was loose for too long, the "squealing" sound is the belt rubbing/slipping.  After time it (the belt) gets hot and melts the V edges causing "glazing" and may fail prematurely or slip even if properly tight.  This is just a warning for you to watch.  It may need replacing sooner than expected or it might be just fine.
