Willy J dont like WARN hubs / l love them because of the lifetime guarantee / they screw up you walk in and they give you a NEW set / you cant beat that and the other hubs dont have that guarantee

There average.

Every wheeler will give you an opionion as to what is best. Get what you like, get what you can afford.
I was mostly busting Dodgboys chops because it was an lame post with no substance to back up why Warn hubs are "Zee best!!!"

Personally I have had a set of warn hubs fall off my Ramcharger. So I am not a big fan. I could have had a bad set, I could have had one faulty hub. But when my lockring and knob from the hub passed me while going down the road. The inner aluminum portion that holds the rest of the manual hub to the wheel end has six or eight threaded holes. Those holes wore out or stripped out. Thus my Warn hub left my truck at freeway speed. Did not make me happy.

The hub was not covered because I was not the original owner/installer. Thats what I got for using JY parts.

I put a set of Milemarkers on my truck. They were sturdy, easy to turn and grasp. All metal. I honestly dont know if they have a warrenty on them. I put them on my Ramcharger in 2004 and a set on my truck in 2005. No issues to date.
Does that make them the greatest and the only ones you should buy.... no. Shop around, review and ask. An google the product you are interested in with keywords like, reviews, failure, recall, warrenty, etc etc.

warn hub failure
Warn Hub Warrenty

Warn Industries, Inc. (WARN) warrants to the original purchaser that the mechanical components of the "WARN" Locking
Hub will be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the hub. This Warranty applies only to the
original purchaser of the hub. To obtain any warranty service, you must provide WARN with proof of purchase and date of
purchase acceptable to WARN, such as a copy of your purchase receipt. This warranty does not cover the removal or
reinstallation of the hub. WARN will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of a defective hub or
component, provided you return the defective hub or component during the warranty period, transportation charges prepaid,
to Warn Industries' Service Department or a Factory Authorized Service Center. Attach your name, address, telephone
number, a description of the problem, and a copy of your receipt and original bill of sale of the defective hub and date of
purchase.
Mile Marker Hub Failure
Mile Marker is just as bad with the warrenty stipulations. I just havent broken one yet. I did get the supremes though.

Mile Marker/Selectro hubs, conversion kits limited warranty

Mile Marker Inc. warrants directly to the first purchaser of each Mile Marker Supreme and Streetmaster locking hub that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship appearing under normal use and service for as long as said purchaser owns the locking hub. Mile Marker "Selectro Classic" models have a 1-year warranty. All Mile Marker Conversion Kits have a 1-year warranty, except for the Four Wheel Drive Chain included in some kits, which has a 90-day warranty. This warranty extends only to the first purchaser. Warranty registration cards for each product must be submitted at the time of purchase or within 30 days by the end user. If you discover a hidden defect, Mile Marker will, as its option, repair or replace the product or necessary replacement parts at no charge to you, provided you remove the product from the vehicle and return it prepaid to Mile Marker Inc. If the product was purchased in the United States, the owner must contact our warranty department to get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number before returning the product. If the product was purchased outside the United States, the owner must return the product to the original place of purchase.

Also in the howtoo notice how Snakeman 55 used a set of Milemarker Supremes... ;)
Just a thought.

The D44s have the Cad not the d60 which is in Cummins 3/4tons till 94. In 94 when they changed to the 2nd gen and eliminated lockouts on the D60 and added the CAD. Hope this clears it up.

Ive never used the cheap plastic warns, but i can attest to the strength and durability of the warn supremes. Had the same set on 3 different trucks, that have been used hard on and off road. Keep em' greased up only ever had to replace a couple of the cap retaining bolts.

As far as cad. Look under your truck, on top of your axle will be a vacum motor. If nothing on top of axle tube, no cad. Its super easy to perm lock it. Just some basic tools and snap ring pliers.

If you live any where that uses salt, the warns will rust in a year, and they do not warrant the finish.

Ok Im with u so I do have a cad. Well why would you lock it? For performance purposes?
since you are installing lockouts it eliminates the need for the CAD. If you permanently lock the CAD it eliminates one more thing to fail when you need 4wd. Less moving parts = less things to go wrong.

We have salt, had mine for about 10 years, no rust. The clear coat has come off the dial, but that's it.
Maybe you have some from when they still used real chrome. The set I had in Pa, started flaking in about a year. Warn said F-you.
