Hey, I have a 77 swb w100 and the headlights wont work. All of the other lights work when I pull the light switch except for the headlights. I replaced the light switch from one of my parts trucks, but it still doesn't work. Its getting power to all of the other lights (blinkers, markers, taillights...etc). Do you think maybe the high beam switch is helping cause this problem? I think its possible, as it could be stuck in between low and high as the switch seems to be broken. I checked the grounds, and they're all secure too. What should I try next? Thanks, Joe

You have the floor mounted dimmer, right?

I had all kinds of problems with one of those on an 84 I had.

I bet that's causing your problem.

Of course, to be safe, you should wait for others to chime in. :)

The highbeam switch is a common culprit.  Also check the headlamp circuit grounds on the radiator support.

Replace the dimmer switch, It's easy and cheap for sure if you have a parts truck.
