dana 44 full time axle removal

ok im trying to rip the front axle apart on a dana 44 full time axle my question is how do u unhook the axle in the differential i cant find anything that holds the axle in. hopefully i did the outside right i removed the wheel the axle nut and the six bolts thrugh the rotor then i put a silver slapper on the rotor and banged that out then i took the plate that the six bolts where in now i cant find anything that holds the axle inside the diff any help will be apreciated.

i got the race and the bearing out is that just a seal way in the back of the hub if it is a can just pound it out from the back right. or is that a bearing too. why i'm doing this is becouse the pinion needs to come out the bearings are bad and i'm missing some teeth on the ring gear hopeing to pull it out and put every thing back in minuse the pinion  so i can move it in and out of the garage for now intell i get everything to put my 3/4 ton axles under it.

Once you get the bearing cap off, Cookjer, just use the axle as a slide hammer to knock the bearing set and inner seal out of the steering knuckle bore.  The axle shaft assembly will then follow, provided you removed the brake caliper bracket from the back of the knuckle first.   ;D

If its a 1/2 ton, you need to remove the brake caliper adapters.

yea i did that i got the axles out and took the ring gear off instead so that way i can refill the diff with lube now my problem is when i go to tighten te rotor the bearings lock up solid and the rotor does not go far enough in for the brack pads to go on the bracket wtf am i doing wrong every thing that came out went back in the same way

guess i did it wrong i pulled the rotor off with noting on it then pulled the cover behind it off then took the bearings off guess i have to take the stuff in and get it all pressed back on the rotor shaft
