I replaced my fuel pump several weeks ago and noticed my return line nipple was broke off. I tried to epoxy it back on and it only lasted 2 weeks. I’ve looked just about everywhere for this part (dealer, salvage yards), with no luck. I have an 89 R/C but the Dodge dealer said they were different part numbers. Is there a way to fix it or somewhere to get a used or new one? Thanks
l have fixed them and epoxy aint it / they make pipe thread fittings that use HI pressure plastic hose / the black hose that newer dodges and fords and GM use and they have it in didffernet sizes / l cut it flush and tapped it and used a 90* elbow fitting
on a side note the return aint that important and you could just drill it out and use steel line into the tank and rubber on the outside
Thanks for the help. My dad found one in South Carolina, but I’m going to keep my old one and try to fix it. Also it’s good to know that the one on my 89 will work. I really didn’t want to use that one. No sense doing that to a complete truck that runs. Thanks again.
