1988 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4 150
« on: September 23, 2012, 08:54:20 PM »
Does anyone know anything about why my front brakes would engage while driving causing drag, or locking.  I can move it when its cold or at random times, but last 3 times not without brakes locking after 4 or 5 miles, then it takes a while, (wait time varies from 20 min to 1/2 a day) before the brakes will unengage and drive.  Changed brake caliper, everyone I have talked to is perplexed and I would like to try and have help figuring it out, money is tight and if it can be fixed at home rather than shop that would be ideal at this point.

I would figure rubber flex lines, has been mentioned as a fix for similar problems on the site here
