Dodge 8 lug wheels same as Chevy or Ford?
« on: August 19, 2004, 12:12:09 AM »
What other makes of 8 lug wheels will fit my Dodge with Dana 60 and Dana 44 from a 3/4 ton Dodge.  Will Chevy and/or Ford patterns fit?

Thanks!

The bolt pattern is 8 on 6.5
be carefull using chevy wheels. sometimes the centers are not large enough for the rear hub to fit through.
Newer ford wheels went metric with the superduty line so those won't work either. other than that they should fit just fine.

What gmule said.  Dodge fits all 8 bolt axles...except the metric Fords. Not many other rims fit Dodge axles, unless they are aftermarket. The Dodge hub is just slightly bigger. I have a set of Chev rims I use for winter storage, and I had to grind 1/8th of an inch arond the center to fit over the Dodge hub.
