Sam was there a reason for not having the profile with where the person is from left out?  If not can it be added back so I can tell where the person I am talking to is located or when he or she posts something I know where they are from (without going to their profile sites each time I what to know).

    wel all looks great, the pages in dark blue against black, I can't even view anyones posts, unless I move around the cursor and just wait for the lil hand to pop up, then I just hop I get the page I want. site is too frustrating to use at present, can't navigate any of the projects or view any history on the projects, can't read the page numbers, on top of the posts.... really really frustrating.

    Change the look then, you have that option in your profile.

    I have a similar problem, and that doesn't work for me. In fact, I have a different "look" at home than at work, and they are both on the same profile (default)

    Are you using the same browser on both the home and work computers? ...and have you tried clearing your browser cache?

    Yep, cleared the cache. Both browsers are IE, one is IE6, the other IE7.

    I know from doing the layout of my site, IE6 has some real issues. That might be the problem right there, since this version of SMF uses a different layout file to help resolve some of those issues in IE6 compared to IE7

    Try downloading and using Firefox to view this site. If the issue goes away, you know it was IE, if it doesnt, then it might be a site related issue. If you are using IE6, i bet that is the problem right there. You should upgrade to IE7 or try Firefox to resolve the issue. If that doesnt work, please let us know.

    downloaded explorer 7 and now i can see stuff, the website does not like explorer 6 in the slightest.... no offense to firefox but I'd rather stick to well supported products like explorer, its just sad, microsoft leaves itself so open for attack, but then again, if firefox was the main cheese, probably be the same situation in reverse....

    Actually IE use vs. Firefox use is about 60/40 with firefox cathing up very fast and will most likely pass up IE by next year. http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

    Either way glad you can see the site now! {cool}

    I agree, IE6 hates the new site.  However, I did a clean XP install with IE7 and the database is still functioning poorly.  I can sometimes interrupt it's seach and hit back button to get the page, but that is hit-or-miss.
