I updated the search function
« on: April 6, 2011, 09:07:06 AM »
If you click on "Search" in the left navigation you get to our main search page.  Before, to cut down on database query loads, I disabled all of the boards, so you had to manually select the board.

People were complaining it doesn't work good and now I see why, if you didn't expand the search (advanced search) and select a board, you only searched deleted stuff, which most people can't see.

I restored it back to auto select all the boards.  If I see a significant jump in server load I may bring it back down.

i guess it would be to much, but it would be nice if we could "find threads created by user".

You can to a limited extent.  You click on the user's profile and you can see their "latest" postings.
