Pete.... this is not at you. I have been here long enough to see the.....ah...special relationship you have with certain other members.....kinda like siblings tragically separated at birth.

Some facts.....

Since no member of RCC is capable of lying to further a political agenda.....

Since so few real facts have been put forth by the media[most of it is opinion] No RCC member is dumb enough to just believe the media and.....say Al Sharpton, Oprah, etc.

It follows that mike the duckman must have witnessed the tragic event.....[only way he would know the facts]

and has not had time to come forward and make his testimony available to police.....so a speedy arrest, trial, conviction, and execution will occur in the near future.

Can not help but see the irony.......our beloved leader, who sees Treyvon as the son he wishes he had....[comes with a cute pic of him when he was 12]

Wonder if he would say the same thing if he had seen the up to date pic of an over 6', middle finger extended, grill wearing, gangbanger wannabe......going by the online username of "No-limit-[insert derogatory racial term only allowed to be used by members of that minority.....then it's cool and encouraged]

Thats the problem with this whole issue, between the distorted so called news, the politicians calling for an arrest and repeating more lies, and many other famous people presenting their distorted version of the events, the majority of the American public will never know "Just the facts". There has been too many lies, and distortions put forth by all sides involved, that no one really knows what the real story is. Its so sad to see what our justis/ political system has become

You might want to rethink your no facts statement.
I would bet the farm zimmerman had a gun, there is no reason to doubt the 911 call and him being told to back off, george said himself that he feared for his life that is why he shot the kid, the so called dent on his head is damning proof of a butt kicking.
One could argue who threw the first blow but in no way a sensible person could be confused on who egged on the confrontation.
BTW george already convicted him when he was recorded saying "these assholes always get away" here is a transcript of the 911 phone call that zimmerman made in its entirety, and try not to gloss over the part where the kid runs from the guy with the gun who is stalking him like a hunter stalks his prey.

It's my understanding that the police do not publicly release everything they have. No one has all the facts.

So, keeping that in mind, how could you, me, or anyone.....possibly reach a fair, fact based conclusion? How do you do that without all the facts?

We do have a saying here in America and it goes like this "innocent until proven guilty" so until a jury finds ANYONE guilty the police have to assume they are guilty.
The thing you fail to get from my posts is I want this to go to trial so all the facts can come out, to me it is cut and dry that George chased down the kid , he had a gun, if not for Georges actions the kid would be alive to day.

"innocent until proven guilty", should mean the police assume the person is treated as innocent, until the police have enough evidence that an actual crime was committed. The police need to be able to prove the person is guilty, not the person having to prove they are innocent.

What crime did George commit? Carrying a gun? No! Calling 911, on a suspicious person? No! Defending his life? No! Using excessive force? That will depend on the technicalities of the Fl law.

Its obvious the police do not feel there is enough evidence that a law was broken, or he would have been arrested. Is it borderline? yes, thats why the police have turned this over to a grand jury.

I think you are right, for the majority of the police departments. Keep in mind here, it was the Mayor of that town, that forced the release of the 911 tapes, and the police dept videos. Unfortunately, it was probably just a policy, not any law that was broken. I feel it was his actions (The mayor), that resulted in this going out of control, and will result in George never getting a fair trial.

What NBC has done, was a major distortion of the facts, and has become part of the catalyst that made this non news event, into a national story, and ensured that nothing good will become of it.

I can say that after looking both pictures of the perp and victim in this case my thoughts change.
The older picture of the kid makes me sad and the up to date picture makes me think he got what was coming to him. I now know that I really need facts to come to a conclusion on this one. I also feel like I am trying to be manipulated by the news source that misrepresented what the facts are. I now see this news agency in the same light as I view the National Enquirer.

As to court proceedings......legal opinions vary between "slam dunk" to "almost impossible to convict". According to the point of view of whatever "news" source your watching at the time.

It just happened the tv was on when the press conference came on as breaking news.....anyone else catch the whole thing?

I don't normally pay much attention to police/prosecutors press events......but I never seen anything like it. The "special" prosecutor started by thanking everyone for coming, gave special thanks for Treyvons parents for coming, and proceeded to thank all those involved in the difficult investigation. Thanking each one by name and by the job each did. Kinda reminded me a little of some type of awards show thank you speech. Her last....really stuck in my mind......"and last....[someone] and [someone] who did what they do best, investigate murder"
Got a bit more professional......but I do remember 3 "justice for Treyvon" remarks.....

Certainly confirmed was what I was thinking about "no politics" involved.

As for the black panther thing.....I think there was an apology....so it's all better now, right?

Of course she is biased,s she is like a fighter in a ring she does have a stake in the outcome it's called a reputation.
I would look like a clown if I put down Zimmerman's lawyers for praying with him.
So much for people wanting facts, looks like a motive for a trail is trumping wanting facts now.
I hope the judge is going to order a gag order so each side will have to keep their mouths shut so only facts will be heard from each side.
