summit 600 carb
« on: June 16, 2013, 03:18:24 PM »
I got the 600 summit carb for my 58 w100 318. the truck had a holly 650.The summit carb right out of the box started right up and ran smoother than the holly ever did and I picked up about 1 mpg not to bad for out of the box.Now the power comes on like it should the only adjustment needed was to set the float the idle scews were spot on.I have not had a chance to go off road yet so I cant say how it will work there .

Did you get that one on sale?  I was considering the same carb for the 383.  Let us know how it does off road.

I have summit's 750 on top my stroked 360 (408)in my 71 Swinger, runs awesome and right out the box. Adjusted float levels that's all. Plan to put the 600 on the 318 in my 88 RC
