2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker B5 *First 1/4 runs*
« on: June 4, 2016, 03:51:45 PM »
Bought it Friday 6/3/16. With my employee discount and rebates I paid 4k under cost.

Hit the 500 mile mark already. Drove down to Vista from Vegas last night. This morning we drove out to Julian for breakfast.

So we ran up 950 mi this weekend. About 750 hwy, 125 through the mountains and the rest around town. 26.2 mpg. It gets an honest 33-35mpg on flat hwy. Of course Ca isn't very flat. Lol.

First 1/4 mile runs at LVMS tonight. 104* with a DA of 5400'. Not bad in that heat on 245/45/20 street tires. Video to follow.

    Nice!!

Supposedly FCA is looking to bring back the 'Cuda name. If that happens, it wouldn't be quite so heretical to add one of these to your car!

.8 is a lot. How did you improve your time?

First runs were at 105* nights in Vegas. This run was 66* at 2800', cat back added and wider rear tires.
