People just moved into a rental house next door. They haven't even been there a week yet. Just came home from running errands and saw this!

LOL.. duct tape on the dog maybe.......... No, seriously, its a little known fact, that taking a blind like that, having a dog chew it, then applying duct tape, makes it stronger and better then if it was new.

Wow, good job on the dog! Serves the people right for not knowing dogs want/need to look out window for you to come back. They are pack animals, and they do not like when the head of the pack and leaves them behind. Leave the blinds open so rover can watch.
Cheers

Yeah, some dogs have what's called 'separation anxiety'. They don't like being left alone. Could be exaggerated by being in a new place. Should keep the dog in a crate or otherwise confined while they're not home until the dog gets over it. I blame the dog owners.

Overrated cat if you ask me. The only kind of dogs i like are the ones big enough to help me pull my truck outta the snow. Then again the bigger they are, the more damage they can do. Hell my last dog ate our bathroom!

That is exactly why i am a cat person. The only thing i have to worry about with my cat, Hemi, is that she likes coffee. If i leave a cup within reach it will be empty when i go to get a drink My sister's poodle on the other hand F'er pissed on my Playstation (it's junk now), it also ate the wires off the transformer/power brick for my Laptop, ate my headphones, took a crap on my Xbox.. I could go on for a long time. I used to think dogs were ok (i was afraid of them because i was attacked as a kid) But after that demon-spawn i hate all dogs with a passion now!

A vast majority of dog problems like that can be solved just by giving them what they need. Interaction other then a pat on the head. WALK YOUR DOG PEOPLE! Not you guys specificly, just people in general.
On ocasion, i have to leave mine home alone for 9 hours if i work the same shift as Jen. I take her for for a good long walk. Then a little play with a tennis ball. Then she gets fed. I have no problems whatsoever. I have done the same with my brothers dog that constantly chews stuff and that also worked there.

Crate or Kennel training is the only way to go. Our dogs are extremely well behaved and we still kennel them at night and/or if we leave the house for work, errands etc. You have no one to blame but yourself if your animals do that shit when your gone. This is clearly a case of the owner being as smart as the dog, and just look at how smart the dog is... The people will have that place as tattered as the dog does, it will just take more than a few days for it to happen.

My son, who is in Peru, has a rent house here. It's occupied by 4 college boys. The previous 4 boys were not supposed to have a dog. Not only did the dog, or the boys, destroy the blinds, but the dog chewed all the corners off of the window sills. Boys destroyed a door and punched holes in several places. I had to remove 2 large trash cans of empty vodka and whiskey bottles. Needless to say, Wes lost money on their deposit and I lost a lot of time...

LOL....you have a caffeinated cat and a high class rodent posing as a dog....have a talk with the cat, tell her you'll hook up with expresso for a year if she disposes of the poodle....another tactic would be to have one of the electronic/electrical items it has a taste for plugged in....

She doesn't actually race around the garage, Well under most circumstances, if you shake a bag of food she'll shoot across the floor like a bolt of lightning But most of the time she takes her good ole time walking everywhere Yeah yeah my desk is a mess, and Hemi isn't even orange You know what they say about pets, They tend to Mirror their owners. In my case i'm good at blending in places and not be noticed, So Hemi has Camo fur

Yep, a few years back when i was in school and my mom was at work the dog went to get a drink outta the toilet and apparently closed the door behind him. Well i guess being locked in a bathroom for 7 hours made him bored so he decided to shread every roll of toilet paper, he chewed on the flusher knob and toilet seat, ate part of the wooden handle off the plunger, chewed up the handles on all the drawers he could reach. That dog carried the look of guilt for almost a week.

Me being a landlord I have been screwed by tenants upside down & sideways.. Bottom line the tenants have ALL the power. Been to court.. got judgements...blah blah blah. Last lady rented 1 of my units.... 8 puppies 5 full grown dogs.......13 f'ing dogs in a small 3 bdroom duplex. Destroyed the carpet so the Dipsh*ts took carpet out back & burned it. They left the stained padding....... Want to see pictures??? become my Facebook friend & you can see Judy Simera White Trash Renter of the Year. She works at Cracker Barrel in Twinsburg Ohio... Kind of Heavy set with Blondish hair... Just think the pictures show how DISGUSTING she lived & she serves the public food.........NICE !!!!!!

I hate cats, I believe in the theory of two cats and a single women. Anything that shits in a box, that I have clean up after or smell it isn't a pet anymore. Picking up shit out side is a different.

That would be the term used to describe my sister's dog then Hemi goes outside I never had to train her or anything, Once in the morning, once at lunch and once in the evening she'll stand in front of the door and meow until i let her out. Except it isn't a Meow, it's more of a Chirp (hemi chirps instead of meowing) Your playstation somewhere under your cat...
Actually it's a IBM Laptop that i bought for parts, lol. I had to throw my PS2 in the junk pile after my sister's poodle pissed on it while it was turned on

Whoa now.... That's not a dog. This is a dog, and it goes in a kennel (crate) when I'm not home. Some people's "kids" huh? Serves em right.

I hate cats, I believe in the theory of two cats and a single women. Anything that shits in a box, that I have clean up after or smell it isn't a pet anymore. Picking up shit out side is a different.
x2 I have a cat that lives in my house (13 years now). It shits outside, and I never see it.

we have two 7yr old shepherd mixes that spend time both indoors and out. during the warm months they spend most of they're time outside. winter time however they are indoors 90% of the time due to the wishes of the other half. They usually wonder around the house while we're home but when we're gone we keep them out in the entry way of the house that seperates the house from the garage....just in case they get bored . Ironically they do less damage while they're in the house than they do out in they're 200x100 foot fenced run out back of the house. All spring, summer, and fall i'm out there filling in holes when they go into earth mover mode The old lady's cat i've determined is the spawn of satan. The most annoying siamese cat i've ever seen in my life and at 12 years old i believe is going senile or something along the lines. The cat sits there and screams non-stop everytime she want attention until you give it to her and has lately got to the point of knocking stuff over on tables if you ignore her long enough. i've never been a cat person but could tolerate just about any cat until this one came along. When me and the ol lady got together 5 years ago she'd get mad at me everytime i got pissed at something her cat did cause she was her precious little baby. Now the cat has gotten so bad that me and her take turns tossing her out the back door when she won't shut up as she's lost all patience with the cat as well. Luckily the cat doesn't do any damage to the house and uses the litter box like it's supposed to, i just can't deal with the non stop screaming out of it from wanting nonstop attention. I told her she can have another cat when this one goes but if she brings another siamese into this house her shit will be packed and sitting on the front lawn.

Like has been said, thats a direct reflection on the owners of that dog. A perfect example of somebody who shouldn't have a pet. I used to have a dog that did stuff like that... It was an older stray that we took in, that I could not get to break the habit of going berserk if we left. She also was affecting how my other dog behaved. Didn't have a kennel, so we put her in the bathroom, that got destroyed, so that was the end of that. Put an ad on craiglist for a free dog and thats how that story ended. My wife wasn't happy, but it was either that or take a walk with the dog in the woods with the .22. I am the kind of person who expects a dog to listen, and would rather shoot the thing, than let them walk all over me. I make it very clear who is in charge, and I don't care who's dog it is either. I'm not going to have some idiot dog, knock me over or jump on me or whatever else it may be. We have 1 dog and 2 cats in the house now. When they die, I don't think they will be replaced. Ok, maybe the dog, but not the cats.

I used to think dogs were ok (i was afraid of them because i was attacked as a kid) But after that demon-spawn i hate all dogs with a passion now! after the dog pissed on a gaming counsil it would have mysteriously disappeared.Hey isn't there that chinese food place down the street?
