Umm...I don't know really...you need to watch it with those 440's. I think you need a truck tranny for them and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I looked at one before I rebuilt my 360...I wouldn't go more then a $500 without doing some checks on it.

well he paid 400 for the car.. i was thinkin my 360 and 50 bux...  but he wont budge.. seems set on taking a 440 out of the world in a demo.. toldem thats what 302's are for... lol

I'll have to look into what tranny goes behind them, didnt think about that, all i have right now is a 727.

I thought the same thing on the tranny. He is a idiot, sorry if he wants to lug that hunk of metal and beat it up for a demo car. I assume there way heaver then a 302.

Personally, take whatever you have and rebuild it. Seriously, I was in your shoes like 3 years ago. I thought about a crate, a 440, 383 and rebuilding my 360. Guess which was the easiest and most cost effective lol..something I already had and hooked up.

if i remember correctly on my last 360-440 swap in a power wagon, we had to notch the frame to clear the manifold/headers
