I love it!! Personality I love the tall wings. These bumpers are getting better and better.  I will be getting one later on this year even if I let it sit in storage.. The only other thing I would change is if I got one I'd ask for a diffrent shackle design.. No offense but I really are not a big fan of the current design.

It might just be me Jim but I like it simple. I really don't understand what the big hole is for on the current design? A chain?  Now granted your design looks like it has massive strength cause it runs along the frame. Something like what I'm asking for might require a gusset.??  Still would rather get one from you than anyone else though.

The big hole was intended to use for a winch cable hook.
I will think about a cleaner look.

I am really liking this bumper with the tall wings on it, but I got a question, what is the purpose for the multiple mounting locations for the front springs? Is it just to slide the front axle more forward when lifted?

These hanger will use the Dodge spring with the axle in the OEM location.
Use the Dodge spring with the axle slid forward 1 3/16"
Use the 52" chevy spring with the axle in the OEM location.
Use the 52" chevy spring with the axle slid forward 1 3/16"

    Does that help?

Yes it does, thanks. The more I look at this bumper the more I think it's the best looking one I've seen for the first generation dodge. I've been going through all the other stuff you have designed and am starting to think I've got a lot of upgrades I need to make now to my w150.

    Eric,
    Sorry for the delay!!
I'm still waiting for the cost from my steel supplier. Do you want the short winch hanger? are you going to run the Dodge springs or the 52" chevy springs?
    Jim

    PS:
I am starting to move on my rear bumper. I'll start a thread when I have some pics to post.

I will be running dodge springs. I'm not sure what you mean by the "short winch hanger". If you're meaning the center section,  yes,  I'll need it.

One of my winch mount is about 3/4" taller than stock to allow for the bigger chevy spring eyes.
The other one is 2" taller than the Stock Dodge spring hanger.

Do you have the HD frame bushing with the 5/8" spring eye bolts?

I'm going for as little lift as possible.  Throw another quote for the HD frame bushing kit also.  Do not currently have it.

I have a pretty stock 1985 RC. I sure would like to do some of the mods you have created. Especially the winch bumper. I do not understand some of the other things you have created and what they are for.
