Stop messing around and give back my repair manual

« on: January 1, 2011, 03:56:53 PM »

I traded it for my old 70 F-250, and was at first told it was a 53, and pics I saw showed round fenders, so I was excited that it was a M38A1.....nope.....ended up being a 55 civvy jeep......Big big big plans for it, and a small thread in the maine boards since it'll be a loooooong process, but here it is....just got it Thurs (12/29).....I did a lil tinkering and I love it!! Lift up and off hood, manual pass. side wiper, snorkel cut out, fold down windshield, of course, and a lil willys tailgate...Cute!!

So now I'm rolling in a 94 F-150 Flareside, BUT, it does have the rims and 35's from the old R/C Cheesy

Bad news, those axles are a foot too wide at least.  Grin

That's a really cool idea.

If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.

So how would you use those axles? Mounting wise.  Move the Spring perches inward?
