Hi ive been around this forum before and love it since im a big RC Fan.  I finally decided to swap a cummins from a 93 250 CTD pickup into my 85 RC. The swap is going perfect and so far its a straight bolt in. all the axles and everything came from a  donner truck.  The problem im having is that the clutch on my 85 RC was a linkage unit and the 93 was a hydraulic clutch.  Since the 85 has a linkage and i looked at the pedal mounting, all of that is different compared to the 93 so what im wondering is it there any way to use the stock hydraulic unit compared to  using an aftermarket unit (if they have one) which I know I would have to Fab something to make it work. please help me out. thank you very much for your time.

yes, i did it.  You use the stock pedal, but disconnect all the mechanical parts of the clutch linkage.  We used the clutch master and bolted the rod it has to the clutch pedal and drilled a hole in the firewall at the same level.  We did this right by where the speedometer cable goes.  Then you bolt the clutch master to the firewall.

Ditto.  I used the same location.  I have a couple of pics in my build post.
