friggen places that are staffed by non citizens that give other non citizens bro deals, but screw anybody that doesn't look like they speak the language,

ugh, guy behind me payed less than half what I did for twice the parts value… sheesh..
and it's not just there, any of the recycling places and most of the other "yards" do the same thing, of course, the local ecology is the only place that gets dodge vehicles  ::),

  OK rant over.

I'll just have you get them for me, have no problem taking them apart and leaving the pieces somewhere, then you can pick them up and pay less than me.

doesn't hurt if you have some facial blemishes, and are missing some teeth too.

It has happened more than once that I have told them "keep your f---en parts and I want to see your manger this is B.S." I know most of them by name and that really scares the employee/cashier. I have found Ecology and U pick U save to be the worst price gougers in self serve wrecking.

yep, unfortunately we only have the ecology for a u pull it, I do know a guy that runs one of the other yards, but no dodges there.

FUnny thing about self serve yards. You can't just speak same language, or do the same stimulant drugs, or have some crappy homemade tats. Or be missing same teeth. You have to have all of the above to get hooked up. Same goes for full serve yards up in Rancho Cordoba. I called triple A dodge and spoke to a guy I later met and we could have been related. Same age, both irish looking, spoke english, short hair and goatee. He still raped me over parts. I think you have to take and pass a tight wad D*cktest  to get hired at wrecking yard.

Hey Mopar Daddy, think you could put up a few pics of your 65 dart wagon sometime? Love those Abodys

Hey Barf, I feel your pain. It's not just a "homie" thing, it's a how offten you go there thing. I have 3 junkyards not to far from my house, and like my cousin says, "they spin the wheel of prices".
They wanted $24 for a broken tail light lens, WTF!?!?! i guess if you go often enough they give a break in the prices, because I when in all dirty and greasy, talking Spanish and all, and still no deals. you might be better off looking for someone parting out a truck for parts.

#16 ·
{agree}  I start to wonder if those guys are on commission or something. Guys parting out trucks seem to be a little more reasonable usually. Hey Green Machine haven't seen any updates on your RC lately. Do you have some more proper footwear on it yet?

Hey moparguy, I got my RC pretty much put to gether, just missing a few bolts and time to finish it off. If it isn't rain, its a swapmeet or just a lack of time to finish it. Its pretty frustrating. Ill get it by summer (I hope).

Im giving myself this summer to get it all done, or i'll have to kick my own but!!
When I get her running, I want to take it to Cleghorn. Ill give all you guys some notice, and maybe another meet 'n greet type situation.

I think cleghorn would be a fun easy trip I am in.
