B&A billet KDP tabs
« on: March 23, 2013, 06:45:44 PM »
Pretty sure most of you have seen these. If not, here is the beefiest method of killer-death-pin retention on the market:

As of now you are on your own to get a longer bolt! That may change. My reasoning for that is as follows:
The factory bolts, inside the timing housing, that affix the timing cover to the block, are too short. All three of them. I believe that if someone is in there that far to tab the pin, they should replace the bolts behind the cam also. Those bolts are also known to fall out. And, when they do, they cause just as much damage as the pin. I am also aware that getting the cam out far enough to swap out those bolts is ALLOT more work! So, it is not very practical for most. Regardless, those decisions are yours, and you are on your own to decide what to do with the bolt situation.

RCC price: $18ea.
