Dana 60 carrier

So I have a Dana 60 front out of a 91 dodge w250 with 3.54 gear ratio. The inner axle seals were leaking so I pulled it apart and found out the axle shafts were grooved where the seals ride. Anyway I figured if I'm putting new axles in it I might a well change the open carrier to some kind of locker/posi. I chose a trutrac and found out when it arrived that the deck height from the bearing to the ring gear is not the same. The original open carrier has a deck height of 2.661 and the new carrier is 2.255 according to my dial calipers. I've been on the phone with jegs where I purchased the trutrac and they have no idea which new carrier I need. Nothing they're listing even comes close to the 2.661.

I've scoured the internet looking for something but keep coming up empty. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help

I have a suspicion it is a Dana 61. The housing itself has more offset accommodate the large pinion of the 3.07 gearset. Therefore a carrier with very tall deck height is needed to make the 3.54 ring mesh with the smaller 3.54 pinion.

You have a couple options.... run a ring gear spacer, or go with a lunchbox locker like a Lockright or Powertrax.
