Name's Dave, been in Fairbanks since 1983.

I've got an '83 RamCharger that looks bad but runs OK. Needs a carburetor at least.

Everybody wants me to get rid of it. I'm... reluctant.

Posted a thread about it. Dudes - back me up!

I'm Kelly, From Fairbanks.

I'm the second owner of an 1983 W150, bought it off my folks. Used to have a '86 RC as well but sold it. It was in great shape but didn't want to sink the money into it.  I had the samea headers and pipes as put on it as I did my '83, it passed IM a, but later found out when it came up for IM again, the guy that originally passed it, passed a few things he should't have.  It wasn't too cost effective to have it fixed, so I kept my favorite of the two, my '83 truck and sold the Ramcharger, I've heard it changed hands a few times. I still see it every now and then.

Here is my old Ramcharger

And here is my '83 W150 Royal/SE Prospector

Seein as how it will be almost november by the time i get back to Ak not sure how much wheelin i will get in but if theres still RCCers up there willin to do some winter exploration let me know. Really want to find some trails and stuff for the next spring and summer. Have a feeling this winter is gonna be the prime time for givin my RC some TLC. Thanx guys.

Hello guys. This is a pretty dead chapter, but there are a couple of fairly active members in AK. If your looking for some trails and people to show you where they are the Fairbanks off-road Lions is a great club. I'm not a member, but have done their charity ride a month or so back. They know where all the trails and legal wheelin places are. http://fairbanksoffroadlions.com/ If your looking to talk dodge and maby turn a wrench and have a drink let me know  Grin
